The 'Ole Chevelle

Gerry Iverson made the move to asphalt racing in 2009 from racing quads in the sand(see AIM's Sand Drag History). Now Gerry races "The 'Ole Chevelle" in the Pro Car Category of the Sunoco Race Fuel Series at Woodburn Dragstrip. "The 'Ole Chevelle" houses a 541 cubic inch, 850 horsepower Merlin engine.

Gerry has several accomplishments to boast of in his two seasons of racing "The 'Ole Chevelle". His best time of 9.50 at 139 miles per hour was run on the quarter mile track in Woodburn. He has also joined the Perfect Light Club three times in 2009 by scoring a .000 reaction time in the tree. In June of 2010, Gerry and AIM Racing teammate Janell Ediger took an exciting 1st place win in the Golf Cart Championship Drag Race.
