(Jim Iverson, Woodburn 2010) Jim Iverson rides the "Carpe Diem" bike, which name means "seize the day". It has a 1427 cc Suzuki GS motor with 202 horsepower, built by Larry Cook of Larry Cook Racing. The "Carpe Diem" has a 1 2 3 override transmission and a Dyna 2000 ignition system with a 300 DL two step. The bike's chassis was built to pro stock motorcycle specifications by Ryan Evans, and has a custom paint job by Shawn Blehm of Fine Line Striping. "Carpe Diem" and it's rider weigh approximately 605 lbs. Jim Iverson began racing quads in 2002(see AIM's Sand Drag History), making the move to motorcycle racing at Woodburn Dragstrip in 2009. Jim's fastest pass is a 8.05 in the quarter mile at 163 miles per hour. In 2009, Jim took first place in the NHRA ET Challenge winning his first Wally. | |||||||||||||
